The Holidays module allows administrators and HR teams to manage company-wide holidays. These holidays are automatically applied to attendance, reports, and payroll calculations. You can:
  • Add new holidays
  • Edit existing holidays
  • Delete holidays
  • Define holiday types and sessions (Full Day / Half Day)

Holiday List Table

The holiday list displays all configured holidays for the selected year.

Table Columns

Add Holiday

Click Add Holiday to create a new holiday entry.

Required Fields

  • Holiday Date – Select the holiday date
  • Holiday Title – Enter the holiday name
  • Holiday Session – Choose Full Day or Half Day
  • Holiday Type – Select Government Holiday, Religious Holiday, or Custom Holiday

Edit Holiday

Use the Edit action to modify:
  • Holiday date
  • Holiday title
  • Holiday session
  • Holiday type
Changes are reflected instantly in attendance and reports.

Delete Holiday

Use the Delete option to remove a holiday. Deleted holidays will no longer be considered in attendance and working day calculations.

Holiday Types

Government Holiday

Official public holidays recognized by government authorities.

Religious Holiday

Religious or festival-based holidays configured by the organization.

Custom Holiday

Company-specific holidays such as company anniversary, team outings, or internal events.

Impact on Attendance & Reports

Holidays affect multiple modules:
  • Attendance will not mark employees as Absent on holidays
  • Working day counts exclude holidays
  • Productivity and time tracking reports adjust calculations automatically
  • Payroll integrations can exclude holidays from salary deductions

Best Practices

  • Configure holidays at the beginning of every year
  • Verify holiday dates for regional and company policies
  • Use Half Day holidays for partial working festivals
  • Restrict holiday management access to Admin/HR roles
